Ms.Dalal Buhejji

Dalal is currently Senior Manager of Financial Services at the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB). She is charged with supporting Bahrain’s financial industries with a particular focus on international outreach. Dalal and the Financial Services team at EDB also work closely with key stakeholders such as the Central Bank of Bahrain to create a business and innovation friendly environment for indigenous businesses and inward investors alike, from startups to corporates. This work has led to the introduction of Bahrain’s Regulatory Sandbox, Bahrain’s Crowdfunding Regulations along with Bahrain Fintech Bay, the largest fintech hub in the Middle East and North Africa. Dalal also chairs the Women in Fintech (WIFBH) initiative in Bahrain. During a career spanning over 10 years, Dalal has worked heavily in the financial services industry. Dalal has Bachelors in Business Administration from George Washington University and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University.
